Welcome!

My name is Elvis Mello-Terencio and I am currently a PhD student in astrophysics at Observatório Nacional, Brazil. My research has been focused on the interactions between spiral galaxies and the intracluster medium, a field that helps us better understand galaxy evolution. I'm also passionate about programming and have often incorporated computational methods into my work, including parallelization, GPU programming and exploring machine learning applications to astronomy and physics.
